After experiencing the passion and unique atmosphere of Atlántico Motorfest, the calendar keeps accelerating with the arrival of the XXII Santa Lucía de Tirajana–Gran Canaria Gravel Rally 2026, which this year brings a major new feature: CC Atlántico-Vecindario becomes the official headquarters of the event.
On Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, the shopping centre will become the main meeting point for drivers, teams, and fans, hosting some of the most anticipated rally activities and turning into the epicentre of motorsport in Gran Canaria.
A Perfect Finale for Atlántico Motorfest
The arrival of the Santa Lucía Gravel Rally also represents a natural continuation of the atmosphere experienced during Atlántico Motorfest, reinforcing CC Atlántico’s commitment to bringing the world of motorsport closer to all audiences.
During those days, visitors to the shopping centre will not only enjoy the competition itself, but also the full experience surrounding a major motorsport event: racing vehicle exhibitions, autograph signings, opening and closing ceremonies, trophy presentations, and a variety of activities designed for fans and families to experience the rally from the inside.
In addition, CC Atlántico-Vecindario will host the official presentation of the event, the official rally stand, and the technical inspections of participating vehicles.
CC Atlántico, a Meeting Point for Motorsport Enthusiasts
Organised by CD. Evesport, the Santa Lucía Gravel Rally returns to an iconic location in the southeast region of Gran Canaria, where this regional event had already been held in previous years.
Thanks to the collaboration and support of CC Atlántico’s General Manager, Alberto Medina, motorsport once again takes on a special role within the shopping centre, consolidating a space designed to bring this sport closer to rally fans across the island.

Hundreds of fans are expected to visit CC Atlántico to enjoy each of the scheduled events, in an atmosphere where excitement, speed, and togetherness will once again take centre stage.
A Highly Anticipated Event for Drivers and Fans
The XXII Santa Lucía Gravel Rally will also be the first points-scoring event of the year for the Canary Islands and Las Palmas Championships in this discipline, making it a highly anticipated event for drivers and teams alike.
The rally will be open to different categories, including cars, quads, and motorcycles, maintaining its usual collaboration with the Motorcycle Federation.
The organisers are also working on the possible participation of prominent names linked to the Spanish Gravel Rally Championship (CERT-ERT), such as former Spanish champion Juan Carlos Quintana and Gustavo Sosa, alongside the regular competitors of the regional championship.
Another major new feature will be the awarding of cash prizes to the top rally finishers, thanks to the support of the Government of the Canary Islands.
An Event That Boosts Sport and Excitement in Gran Canaria
The Santa Lucía Gravel Rally is supported by the Santa Lucía de Tirajana Town Council and its Sports Department, together with the Gran Canaria Island Council and the Island Sports Institute, as well as several private collaborators who continue to join this sporting event.
With this new edition, CC Atlántico once again becomes much more than a shopping destination: a place to share experiences, enjoy leisure activities, and experience major events that bring the whole family together.
