CC Atlántico has hosted the presentation of the Gran Canaria Windsurf World Cup, one of the great events on the world windsurfing calendar. As sponsors of the championship, we have also had the privilege of being the official registration venue, turning our walkways into the starting point of a sporting adventure that once again turns its eyes to Gran Canaria this summer.
A sporting event of global scale
The Gran Canaria Windsurf World Cup returns once more to bring the very best of international windsurfing together on the island. In its 38th edition, the competition gathers more than 120 riders —from established professionals to rising young talents— who will battle for victory in the wave discipline, across categories ranging from the youngest (Under-13, Under-15, Under-18, Under-21) to the masters.
The setting could only be Pozo Izquierdo beach, in Santa Lucía de Tirajana, one of the true temples of windsurfing worldwide thanks to its unique wind conditions. It is an event that, yet another summer, places Gran Canaria firmly on the map of the great international sporting occasions.
CC Atlántico, the official registration venue
